209 Ban Pong Sugar Ban Pong Sugar Company Limited was set up in 1974 on an area of 740 acres. The company’s main purpose is sugar cane production for domestic consumption and export to foreign countries. Molasses is a by-product as well as bagasse utilized for energy. In 1974, Ban Pong’s mills launched cane production with a capacity of 8,000 tons per day. Currently, it has a production capacity of 14,000 tons per day and it produces refined sugar, averaging 16,000 to 17,000 bags per day. The company is committed to producing raw sugar with the highest degree of quality and safety to its customers. Ban Pong also believes it is important to participate in community development, environmental protection, relevant international practices, social responsibility and creating methods which provide continuous improvement and sustainability. Ban Pong has a raw house of 21 machines that are 100% Western States machines.
