CHAPTER 13 174 P.T. Encoxim is a manufacturers’ representative company supplying equipment and parts, as well as engineering and construction services to the sugar industry throughout Indonesia. The company has offices in both Surabaya and Jakarta. Encoxim was founded in 1980 by the late Steve Buang Lumingkewas. Encoxim focuses on state-owned sugar-related industries. Due to Mr. Lumingkewas’ retirement on March 10, 2008, Encoxim ownership was handed over to his friend, the late Mr. Johan Arman Simon whom passed away in September 2008. Encoxim was taken over by Mr. Simon’s son-in-law, Mr. Willy Widjaja. With the latest installment of the TITAN 1700 Batch Centrifugal in East Java in 2015, Indonesia now has a total of 184 machines installed. Unfortunately, Mr. Lumingkewas passed away on December 9, 2014. At the moment Western States machines are still amongst the most reliable machines ever installed in Indonesia.
